MORE BHS FAMILY ESCRIP MEMBERS = MORE PARENTS’ GROUP $$FUNDS…AT NO COST TO YOU OR THE SCHOOL

Dear Burlingame High School Parents and Teachers:

Your shopping can help us raise money for BHS programs and special projects for the 2009/2010 school year. Every year we raise thousands of dollars for our school through your grocery and other shopping. Our goal is to significantly increase the number of families involved this year.

Important: If you are already registered with the eScrip program, please take a few minutes to either check online at www.escrip.com or call them at 1-800-801-4973 to ensure that your credit card and debit/ATM numbers are correct and provide them with current expiration dates. Don’t forget to also renew your Safeway card annually.

New Members (not registered):

Register all your credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Macy’s), debit/ATM cards and Safeway Club Card by going online to www.escrip.com and clicking on Burlingame High School Parents Group ID#130320215. You can also call eScrip directly at 1-800-891-4973 and register by phone.

INCOMING FRESHMAN FAMILIES:

Please go online and change your school to Burlingame High School Parent’s Group (ID#130320215).

You can register as many as three organizations. The donations will be split evenly.

Some interesting facts:

• We have over 1200 families at BHS and only 438 registered supporters.
• Many of these registered family memberships have been using their expired Safeway, credit, and debit cards. When you get a new card please visit escrip.com and update the card numbers and expiration dates.
• One average family’s $600 monthly grocery expense at Safeway will earn $120 per year. Multiply that by 500 families and we could earn $60,000 per year.
• In 2008, the BHS Parent’s Group earned $15,558 with eScrip. Think of the possibilities if we increase our subscriber base.
• Please ask friends and family members to also register their cards today.

Online shoppers can use the Online Mall at eScrip.com to shop at eBay, Priceline, Expedia, Travelocity, Lands End, Nordstrom, Dell and many, many other merchants.
